Building Connections at our Annual Spring Keynote Address Dinner

Building Connections at our Annual Spring Keynote Address Dinner

It was the West Lothian Chamber of Commerce annual Spring Keynote Address dinner this month and we would like to thank all who attended. Within the prime setting of the Macdonald Houston House Hotel, the event encouraged new connections to be made as well as showcasing businesses in West Lothian.

We were delighted to welcome successful ex-footballer and entrepreneur, Willie Henderson, as our key speaker for the night. With an inspirational career and life, Willie showed resilience in achieving success throughout his career, stating that ‘the only time success comes before work is in the dictionary’. An inspirational story with a clear meaning for businesses in achieving future success.

With Developing the Young Workforce West Lothian Regional Group as our main sponsors for the night, there was an opportunity for businesses to find out more about this exciting project and to understand the benefits of getting involved. Project Manager, Lauren Brown, gave a brief update on the project including the launch of their new online portal at the beginning of the summer. The project aims to bridge the gap between education and employment for young people based within West Lothian. If you would like more information on the project visit their website: www.dyw-wl.com.

With a fantastic response from all attendees, the event was deemed a huge success and a great platform for businesses to build relations with clients and key contacts within a relaxed and premiere setting. We would like to thank all businesses who attended and hope that the night provided you with inspiration and new connections for the future.
