International Business Mission to California, USA (Virtual)

1st to 3rd June 

This virtual mission will be led by the West Lothian Chamber of Commerce to support Scottish businesses interested in extending their international trading opportunities.

Why California?

If California were a sovereign nation, it would rank as the world’s fifth largest economy, ahead of India and behind Germany based on 2019 data clearly showing that California is a force to be reckoned with.

This trade mission will provide an introduction and opportunity to develop trading partnerships between Scotland and California

The programme will include:

Virtual networking to meet the Scottish delegation.

Market Awareness Session – California economy, business, tax and legal environment.

Virtual one-to-one business meetings with potential clients or trade partners.

Sector specific meetings tailored according to industry and stated business objectives.

Potential Sectors include:

  • Manufacturing
  • Technology
  • Renewables
  • Food & Drink
  • Tourism

The virtual trade mission is free to any Scottish businesses interested in growing their international trade activity.

Booking Terms and Conditions

Please note by booking your place you agree to us including your name and company name in a delegate list and to photographs being taken at the event for use by the Chamber and its partners. On occasion the event may be filmed please notify the organiser if you do not wish to be filmed.

What happens if I need to cancel?

If you are unable to attend this event, you are able to send a substitute in your place.  Please notify the Chamber of any changes.

If you need to cancel the booking entirely, please give at least 2 days’ notice or you will be liable for the full charges for this event, event package holders will have the event credit deducted.
