Business Excellence Awards-NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN FOR 2019

West Lothian is a great hub for successful and progressive businesses and the Chamber feels it is only right that this is celebrated in a grand fashion with our black-tie Business Excellence Awards. The Awards is a time for deserving winners to be publicly acknowledged for demonstrating continued pursuit of excellence and for having a passion for business improvement.

We continue to host the awards as we feel it is important that West Lothian is recognised as a region that holds unlimited potential for the future and we encourage businesses of all types and any size to consider how your business excels in excellence.  Although it is not all about business, each year we also recognise a school who are delivering commitment to innovation and enterprise and an employer who is committed to the developing workforce. The awards will remain a testament to the talent, drive, achievement and success of West Lothian.

Ensuring we showcase key aspects of excellence, business and the community, we have a variety of categories, including a brand-new entry for 2019.

What our previous winners have to say

Angela Crolla, Lucerne winner of 2018 Entrepreneur & Business Start Up Award is still reaping  the rewards and positive recognition saying:

“Winning the Business Excellence Award last year was amazing for our fantastic carers, our clients and the whole of Lucerne.

This award was a recognition for our winning formula for providing the highest level of care, continuous improvements and up to date training.

After winning this award, Lucerne were shortlisted for Care Provider of The Year at the Scottish Care Awards. The 1st care company in West Lothian to be awarded this accolade.

The West Lothian Business Excellence Award elevated Lucerne to a wider audience and I believe had a major influence in the judging panel.

We are exceptional proud of all our achievements and hope to continue our award-winning care.”

Another very worthy winner was Michelle Quinn, Almond Engineering  who was presented with last year’s Shona Sibbald Woman in Business Award  showcasing her as an inspiration to all young female entrepreneurs. Michelle says:

“Winning the West Lothian Chamber Woman in Business Award 2018 which recognises the hard work and achievements of woman across West Lothian came as a shock due to the large number of amazing ladies in business in this area.

I was ecstatic to have received this prestigious award and fly the flag for not only woman in business but also females in engineering. Since winning the award I have been described as a role model and an inspiration for young people throughout West Lothian which makes me even more determined to continue to encourage our future generation of young female leaders and help promote the opportunities and routes available for young people.”
