Now in its 5th year the PumpIt Up heat pump design challenge is open to all high schools in West Lothian, with an overall winner being selected on the day.

Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioning Systems and the West Lothian Chamber of Commerce are working in partnership to bring closer together industry and schools with the aim of supporting young people in developing skills beneficial to their future development.

We will also be joined on the day by the President of Mitsubishi Livingston  Mr Yoshiro Sumida and Mr Nozomu Takaoka Consul General for Japan in Edinburgh.


4.30pm for 5pm Guests Arrive

5pm Welcome and Presentations from Finalists

6pm – 6.30pm Refreshments

6.30pm – 7pm Winners Announced

The young people will endeavour to impress the judges with their unique concept, and I hope you can come along to show your support.





Booking Terms and Conditions

Please note by booking your place you agree to us including your name and company name in a delegate list and to photographs being taken at the event for use by the Chamber and its partners. On occasion the event may be filmed please notify the organiser if you do not wish to be filmed.

What happens if I need to cancel?

If you are unable to attend this event, you are able to send a substitute in your place.  Please notify the Chamber of any changes.

If you need to cancel the booking entirely, please give at least 2 days’ notice or you will be liable for the full charges for this event, event package holders will have the event credit deducted.
