St John Children’s Fund Now Live
St John’s Children’s Fund is now established to help babies, children and young people cared for by St John’s Hospital and community healthcare settings across West Lothian.
Held by Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity, St John’s Children’s Fund will raise money for the children’s ward, maternity services and special care baby unit at St John’s, as well as other children’s services including Sunndach respite service.
Donations have already made a huge difference to families’ hospital experience, including the creation of a beautiful garden for the Mother and Baby Unit, revamping the children’s ward playroom, improving the A&E Department and funding extra medical equipment and comforts like reward certificates to recognise children’s bravery.
Now, £40,000 is urgently needed to transform St John’s Maternity Unit. Donations will revamp the clinical and waiting spaces into comfortable and welcoming areas to help families in the weeks, days and hours before and after birth. If you can, please donate to St John’s Children’s Fund’s Maternity Appeal now: https://echcharity.enthuse.com/StJohnsChildensFund
There are also lots of ways to get involved! If you would like to help by fundraising, volunteering or simply spreading the word, St John’s Children’s Fund would love to hear from you:
